Make a Difference.Overview of PositionThe Patient Services Representative is responsible for answering patient calls and researching and resolving billing issues in order to receive maximum profitability for clients within a call center environment. Reviews claims to make sure that payer specific billing requirements are met, follows-up on billing, determines and applies appropriate adjustments, answers inquiries, and updates accounts as necessary. Requires excellent communication and a strong understanding of the Accounts Receivable process.What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Take high volume inbound calls from patients, troubleshoot their needs and contact insurance companies
  • Identify any issues or trends and bring them to the attention of management team
  • Work on special projects as assigned
  • Other duties as assignedWhat are the requirements needed for this position?
    • 1-2 years Accounts Receivable Process in Healthcare and/or Insurance Billing
    • 1-3 years work experience
    • Ability to meet position metrics goals (KPIs)
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • High school diploma or equivalent work experienceWhat other skills/experience would be helpful to have?
      • Call Center experience preferred
      • Organized
      • Detail Oriented
      • Ability to multi-task
      • Work well with others
