Job Description:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

- Proven track record and ability to transform and drive a high

- Ensures company goals and expectations of personal safety, food

activities of the Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance Team
who ensure safety, quality and productivity policies and procedures
are followed.
- Creates a team-oriented atmosphere with emphasis on customer
satisfaction, safety, quality, productivity, positive morale and
open communication of business expectations to all Team
Members.
- Develops high expectations of personnel performance through
coaching Team Members in their work, giving regular feedback on
performance and correcting performance issues.
- Identifies and develops Team Member talent.
- Ensures analysis, design, and implementation of changes to
equipment layout and workflow adhere to manufacturing quality
standards and deliver expected results.
- Develops and manages purchased equipment manufacturing
performance standards.Leads facility supervisors in development and
implementation of PM and AM programs for all facilities.
- Develops CMMS hierarchy and manages facility supervisors
execution of those standards at each facility.
- Ensures capital purchases are aligned with capacity projections
and company vision through collaboration with plant management and
planning teams.
- Recommends equipment vendors and completes scope documentation
for Procurement to source expansion of manufacturing processes and
commercialization of new products.
- Analyzes processing and packaging technology and equipment to
effectively recommend the most effective methods of
manufacturing.
- Works directly with product development to commercialize new
products, develop commercialization cost models and assure a smooth
transition from concept to full scale production.
- Conducts budget preparation and oversees budget control -
accountable for meeting department and project budgets, expenses,
and operational metrics.
- Works cross-functionally to ensure plant products meet patron,
customer, and internal specifications, modifies plant processes to
ensure compliance as required.
- Promote continuous improvement culture throughout the
organization.
- Immediately reports any food safety or quality issues to
management or other individuals authorized to initiate action.
QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial or Electrical
Engineering and/or related experience.
- 5-10 years of experience in roles optimizing process and
equipment performance and team member training, required.
- Relevant experience analyzing operational capacity vs. planned
production, implementing equipment installations for efficiency,
and measuring equipment capability required.
- Experience within the food, pharmaceutical, or chemical
industries, preferred.
