Job Description Wysocki Family of Companies is seeking an
experience Equipment Operator - Mechanic for our Eagle River Seed
Farm Location in Eagle River, WI. The Equipment Operator - Mechanic
provides preventative and troubleshooting maintenance support for
various types of agricultural operating equipment to include but
not limited to crop handling equipment, trucks (Pickup, dump,
fertilizer, water, dump, fertilizer, water trucks), semis, and
various sizes and types of tractors and harvesting equipment during
planting, cultivation, harvest, and the winter season. Along with
safely operating various types of farm equipment such as 300 - 600
horsepower tractors, Western Star Bulk Trucks and Spudnik
conveyors. As part of a connected team, you will also be expected
to contribute in varies areas including, but not limited to record
keeping, snow removal, building maintenance, potato grading,
shipping and receiving, etc. Qualifications - High School graduate
or equivalentThree Years +(plus) field/maintenance and equipment
operation experience with demonstrated ability to trouble shoot and
repair various agricultural equipment such as tractors and
conveyorsThree Years +(plus) maintenance/mechanic experience with
demonstrated ability to trouble shoot and repair various types of
agricultural equipment such as conveyance equipment, tractors, or
transportation fleet such as bulk trucks and semis. Knowledge of
tools and tool usage, including welding skills Demonstrated
knowledge of basic Electrical and variable frequency drive
experience preferredDemonstrated ability to use various types of
technology systems such E-Maintenance, mobile technology, and
diagnostic scanners to read and interpret any mechanical/electrical
issues. Driver's License with an Acceptable Driving RecordPesticide
License within 3-6 months of hire Competencies - Mechanical
Aptitude - Ability to understand basic mechanical principles and be
able to apply them to various agriculture machines and equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot with the basic knowledge of mechanicsSafe
work Habits - Maintains clean and organized work area. References
vehicle, machinery safety manuals or chemical labels prior to use
and follows instructions as indicated. Displays safe work habits.
Follows safety rules or protocols. References MSDS as appropriate.
Wears PPE as required. Maintains a safe personal disposition by
listening, showing patience and respecting people, tools and
property. Takes ownership of a safe workplace for others.Quality of

compromise quality. There is a low instance of rework. Makes
changes after performing rework to avoid similar mistakes. Uses

Recognizes when regular breakdowns or damage is a result of
improper use and notifies appropriate managers. Takes proactive
steps to avoid problems by communicating consistently with
management and provides regular project updates to management.
Follows established operating procedures. Completes WFC paperwork
or computer documentation as required. Quantity of Work - Completes
work according to established deadlines without compromising
quality and safety. Manages time effectively. Follows priorities
established by management. Follows up with management to stay busy

written work is clear. Physical Requirements - Physical Activities:
This position requires strenuous physical exertion including the
ability to: ascend/descend various types of ladders and stairs;
move oneself into different positions in various environments
(sometimes tight and confined); bend, stoop, squat and kneel: reach
for and lift objects above the shoulder; walk distances on firm,
uneven and soft terrain; frequently lift 50 pounds, occasionally
lifting up to 100 pounds; communicate with others via
voice/listening/response; repeat motions with the wrists, hands and
fingers; operate machinery, power tools, vehicles and heavy
equipment; visually inspect work in near/distant scenarios
including need for peripheral vision and depth perception.
Environmental Conditions: Physical activities may be performed in
both indoor (office/shop/production areas) and outdoor environments
(fields) which could include---low and high temperatures;
precipitation and wind; noisy environments; potential exposure to
chemicals/pesticides; dusty or poorly ventilated environments;
