The VP of Marketing is responsible for strategically leading Festival Foods entire Marketing functions (including, but not limited to Ecommerce, print media, digital, social media, mobile text, etc.). Job Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides the strategic vision (short and long term) for all Marketing initiatives and functions
• Develops and implements plans to increase ROI, reduce costs and improve overall results for the entire Marketing department
• Responsible for total print media operation for all Festival Foods locations
• Ensures that all Festival Foods markets are routinely analyzed and uniquely positioned to drive sales and continually delight our guests
• Possesses strong business acumen and has accountability of the overall budget for the company-wide Marketing operation
• Collaboratively develops and leads a team of directors and managers to strategically execute new ways to promote the Festival Foods brand
• Establishes, leads and executes the total strategy for all Marketing initiatives for Festival Foods collaboratively across the entire organization
• Develops and executes against the Annual Operating Plan for the Marketing Department
• Drives profitable sales and implementing new and effective marketing strategies across all departments and locations
• Evaluates marketing best practices driving improvement in processes and efficiencies
• Ensures the marketing team and company is abreast and takes action accordingly to react to local, regional and national marketing and sales trends
• Connects and builds exceptional relationships with all Festival Foods associates, including all levels of leadership
• Ensures the coaching, mentoring and development of all associates and leaders in the marketing organization
• Represents Festival Foods at trade associations, conferences, meetings, and regional or national events
• Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences
• Other duties as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
  • 15+ years Marketing experience, the most recent 5 years in a senior leadership capacity
  • Undergraduate degree required
  • It is critical for this leader to have personal values that align with Festival's Mission Statement, company Values and Boomerang Basics
  • Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience leading in-house print team is required
  • Demonstrated excellence in business and financial acumen is required
  • Demonstrated Servant Leader
  • Knowledge and practical experience with SEO, digital marketing tools and print media is required
  • Monitoring and assessing performance of self, other individuals, or organizations to drive continuous improvement through positive accountability
  • Ability to travel for store visits and/or industry conferences and events is required PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
    • Sitting or standing at a computer up to 90% of the time
    • Bending, stretching, and occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs. is required
