POSITION SUMMARY Work with teams to plan, organize or coordinate, activities related to the construction and maintenance of multiple construction projects. Manage all aspects of the project lifecycle of multiple construction initiatives aimed to remodel and retrofit existing campuses and regional learning centers. Provide direct support to various departments within College to produce the most cost-effective construction solutions for the organization. Essential Functions Statement(s) - Exercise essential project management skills to manage project through their lifecycle including, scheduling, budgeting, and estimating, cost management, and quality management - Provide direction and maintain relationships with contracted architectural, engineering, and construction professionals to discuss and resolve matters, such as work procedures, complaints, or construction problem. - Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to employees and stakeholders in execution of projects - Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, or other regulations - Investigate and take actions to deal with damage, accidents, emergencies, or delays at construction sites, to ensure that proper procedures are being carried out. - Requisitions supplies or material to complete construction projects - Inspect or review projects to monitor compliance with environmental regulations - Complete scope determination, drawings, budgets, and feasibility analysis for inclusion in the capital budget - Facilitate meetings and moving plans for construction projects from conceptual design, planning, and deployment Make regular presentations on project concepts status or budgets to various College teams including the Executive Leadership Team and the College Board Job Requirements: SKILLS & ABILITIES Education: Bachelor's Degree in related field. Experience: A minimum of three years related experience. **An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered. - Cultural Competence: Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and sensitivity to and understanding of a diverse community of college students, faculty, and staff. *NWTC welcomes candidates who currently possess the desired skills and experience and are committed to learning and growing. - Computer Skills Microsoft Office Suite, emphasis on Excel and Project, Adobe, AutoCAD/Revit. Certificates & Licenses LEED certification is preferred. Other Requirements Must hold a valid driver's license and be insurable under the District's standard insurance policy term.
