This is a highly visible position with significant impact and growth opportunities. You are your team will shape the future of technology in the water industry.The Software Development Manager is responsible for leading a team of talented engineers guiding the software design, documentation, development, engineering approach, and delivery. You will shape the team's technical roadmap and work closely with leadership to shape our BEACON software as a service platform.Responsibilities:Manage, coach and motivate Software EngineersProduce clean, efficient code based on user storiesDesign and architect complex software systemsDevelop project plans, from ideation to marketPrepare and follow budgets while balancing resource allocationIntegrate software components and third-party applicationsMaintain and support existing servicesQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; Master's Degree preferredProgramming experience in Python, C#, Java, or other object-oriented languagesDemonstrates strong initiative and motivationDemonstrates appropriate judgement and decision making7+ years of software development experience5+ years of experience of designing, and developing scalable services3+ years of people management experience, managing engineersExperience taking a lead role in architecting, designing, and building complex software systemsExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Experience partnering with product or program management teams#LI-HybridAn Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
