Manager. -SUMMARY The candidate will be responsible for managing
the accounts receivable and accounts payable functions and will be
part of the Accounting Leadership Team. -Liaising with your teams,
internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure cash
collection and supplier payment management while optimizing the
cash flow for the business. -ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Lead the account receivable and
accounts payable teams with strong ethics and integrity. Support
development of direct report's capabilities and competencies by
regular, ongoing coaching and performance reviews.Build and
maintain relationship with key business partners, understanding
their needs and working together to identify
issues/non-efficiencies, implementing solutions and document
changes in SOPs.Oversee the ongoing monitoring and follow-up on
customer receivable balances, reduce DSO and eliminate past due
invoices.Collaborate with the sales department to verify the
validity of chargebacks/disputes, manage and resolve invalid and
unauthorized deductions to provide fast resolution.Establish and
maintain accounts receivable department policies and procedures
including, but not limited to, assessing credit risk and approving
recommended credit limits for customers, respond to credit and
collection concerns with existing and potential customers.Lead all
areas of the day-to-day AP full cycle accounting, including vendor
set-up and management, daily invoice processing, accurate GL coding
and payment runs.Manage the AP month-end close process, including
invoice accruals, prepaids and subledger reconciliations. Oversee
the management of the company's credit card purchasing and expense
reporting programs and processesEstablish and maintain accounts
payable department policies and procedures including but not
limited to, vendor verification and payment approval.Develop and
post key performance indicators on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly
basis. -SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Supervises the Accounts
Receivable and Accounts Payable Team. Responsibilities include
interviewing, hiring, and training; planning, assigning, and
directing work; performance appraisals, discipline, mentoring, and
succession planning. -QUALIFICATIONS -
Degree in Business Administration,
Finance or Accounting7 years of experience in finance or
accounting5+ years of leadership experienceStrong leadership
capabilities, including: influencing, stakeholder engagement, and
effective communication skillsFull understanding of Financial
Statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and Accounting
Principles.Continuously improvement mindsetProblem solving skills
