Description:About the Role:The primary role of the EHS Manager is
to provide safety, environmental and strategic direction by leading
and supporting operations efforts to identify, eliminate and reduce
exposures to create a safe and compliant work environment. You'll
add value to this role by performing various functions including,
but not limited to:Providing strategic direction and oversight
aligned with Corporate EHS for environmental, occupational health,
safety, industrial hygiene, occupation medical, and security
standards while in accordance with federal/state/local regulatory
and company requirements (OSHA, EPA and TreeHouse Foods
standards)Develop and manages daily activities, including the
execution of a variety of trainings, monitoring, and identifying
risks/exposures tied to EHS programs, to ensure interaction with
team leaders, management and facility employees in order to
increase awareness and education levels regarding safe and
compliant work. These programs include, but aren't limited to; Lock
Out Tag Out, Hot Work, Machine Guarding, Confined Space, hearing
conservation, etc.Assist in establishing and accountable for
oversight of cross functional and multidisciplinary Program teams,
to address EHS and security site issues, formulate proposal for
strategic and tactical responses to ensure preventive measures that
positively impact the maturity and foster a safety-first
cultureServes as technical and regulatory expert. Assist with
safety related regulatory compliance issues, as well as assisting
with updating and implementing company and site safety
programs/standardsAccountable for all EHS metrics per their site
loss analysis including monitoring for trends and reacting
accordinglyResponsible for monitoring, preparation and maintenance
of mandatory/regulatory safety and environmental reports/records
through EHS Data Management SystemImplement and maintain an
incident investigation methodology, aligned with corporate EHS &
Risk Management, to ensure incidents are investigated and root
causes are identifiedSupporting partner to Human Resources
regarding Worker's Compensation loss control programs and related
reporting requirementsImportant Details: This is a full-time
position located at our Green Bay, WI manufacturing facility. About
You:You'll fit right in if you have:Minimum of 3 years of
progressive experience in environment, health, and safety, and/or
sustainability managementExperience working in a manufacturing
facilityFood and Beverage experience preferredStrong knowledge of
safety regulations (OSHA, hazard communications, accident
investigation and safety training methods, etc.)Knowledgeable of
industry best practice regarding safety and environmental
management practices with PSM & RMPB.S. degree in safety
management, environmental health, or related field; Master's degree
preferredAbility to write reports, business correspondence, and
