This position is eligible for a $20,000 Sign On Bonus for RNs with greater than 1 year experience and a $5,000 Sign On Bonus for RNs with less than 1 year experience. We are seeking a Registered Nurse with MedEvac in Mosinee, WI. Under the direction and supervision of the Manager MedEvac, this RN position is responsible for providing safe, comprehensive care to critically ill and/or injured patients of all ages. Care is provided in the pre-hospital setting and during inter-facility transports by understanding and applying the specialized principles and techniques of transport paramedic practice, emergency procedures and diagnostics. Responsibilities will include:Identifies opportunities to improve patient experience. Participates in projects/programs designed to enhance service delivery and patient satisfaction. Collects data using established assessment format. Assesses emotional needs and learning readiness to develop holistic plan of care. Conducts and documents total nursing assessment of the health status of patients by collecting and recording subjective and objective data. Plans for care through the existing episode of illness onto the next level of care to promote continuity of quality care and optimal outcome. Defines and alters protocols/procedures to meet care needs of individual patients. Qualifications:Knowledge of patient care standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a nursing program. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred. Minimum of 1 year (3 years preferred) current field experience in a busy 911/pre-hospital service for ground critical care transport and intercepts preferred. Current CPR certification or obtained within 90 days of hire. Possesses an active Wisconsin RN nursing license. Must obtain Michigan RN License within 90 days Must possess Wisconsin EMS license EMT minimum, Paramedic preferred Must possess or be eligible for a Michigan EMS license EMT minimum, Paramedic preferred. Must obtain within 120 days Must possess a valid, unrestricted drivers license in the State of residency ACLS required PALS recommended, required within agreed upon time NRP recommended, required within agreed upon time NIMS ICS 100, 200, 700, 800 preferred, required upon orientation start. CEVO or other driving course recommended, required within agreed upon time TNCC or other trauma course recommended, required within agreed upon time
