We are seeking a highly energetic nurse leader ready to take the next step in their career to coordinate our Pathways to Excellence program across our growing health system.The Pathways to Excellence Coordinator partners with nurse leaders and key stakeholders across the system to support nursing practice excellence, professional governance, and nursing engagement.The Pathway Excellence Coordinator is proficient in nursing and functions as a clinical leader, expeditor, educator, and consultant, utilizing management theory, change management and negotiations to expand evidence base practices and successfully implement the ANCC Pathway to Excellence standards/ elements of performance. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors Degree in nursing required. Masters degree in nursing, Healthcare Admin and/or Business achieved or working towards preferred. Minimum of 5 years working within healthcare environment + demonstrated knowledge and application of Pathway to Excellence and/or Magnet principles. Experience with database management, and quality or leadership role is preferred. Hours: Full time Benefit package available, 40 Hours per week, Day Shift Wausau, Wisconsin is located in the lovely Wisconsin River valley at the center of the state. We have a metro area population of 80,000 with excellent schools, busy performing arts center, large private music conservatory, and visual arts center.Quiet residential neighborhoods surround Lake Wausau and overlook the Wisconsin River or have views of Rib Mountain State Park. A normal commute is ten minutes to any part of town. We enjoy four seasons of recreation including all water sports, sailing, kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, soccer, down-hill and cross-country skiing. We are conveniently located three hours from Milwaukee and Minneapolis.
