Overview: Join our Lab Team at Forefront Dermatology! Committed to world class patient care, our lab has invested in state of the art technology. Operating 24 hours-a-day, 5 days a week, we deliver accurate results quickly so care plans can be implemented sooner. Our lab offers a complete range of dermatology testing including: routine pathology, immunohistochemistry, special stains, and direct immunofluorescence studies, while utilizing advanced technology for automated processing and automated staining. A broad test menu allows us to keep nearly all testing in house, reducing turnaround time and additional bills for the patient. Part Time :40 Open shift: Afternoons and Nights Responsibilities: Uncertified Histotechnician is responsible for obtaining and preparing tissue specimens from the skin to perform microscopic examination. Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required.
• Associate Degree in a science related field is required. Histotechnologists must either have a bachelor's degree in an approved major (e.g. biology, chemistry) and one year of experience in a histopathology lab or complete a formal histotechnology educational program. They also must pass a national exam. There are three paths to becoming a histologic technician .
  • Previous experience in a lab environment is as an an uncertified histo tech somewhere else is required. Pay and Benefits: Based on education, experience
