About The Position Job Title: RN Psych Location (On-site, Remote, or Hybrid?): Green Bay, WI (onsite) Contract Duration: 13 weeks Work Hours: NIGHTS - 12HR; Block Schedule Total Weekly Hours: 36 We are seeking experienced psychiatric nurses to join our acute behavioral health facility, which offers comprehensive care across five specialized units with a total of 72 beds. Our patient population includes both voluntary and involuntary individuals, ranging from children (as young as 5) to geriatric adults. Facility Overview: Type: Acute Psychiatric Facility Units: 5 Bed Count: 72 Patient Population: Adults and pediatrics Security: No onsite security; occasional incarcerated individuals Schedule: Block schedule with every other weekend required Shift Options: Straight 36 hours or 36/48 hour rotation Shift Times: 6:00 6:30 PM Schedule Policy: Must be able to fill block shifts; no alterations permitted Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:12 (consistent across day and night shifts) Support Staff: Nurses, Behavioral Health Associates (BHAs), House Supervisors (always onsite) Floating Expectations: May float between units within the facility, but not to other sites Requirements: Experience: Minimum 2 years of direct psychiatric and acute care experience Certifications: CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) provided onsite Background Check: State of Wisconsin Caregiver background check (wet signature required) must complete onsite prior to starting Travel Experience: Not required Orientation: Details to be provided Additional Information: Dress Code: Solid-colored scrubs (maroon, grey, navy blue, or black) Parking: Onsite Visitor Policy: Limited to specific evening hours Restraints: Physical restraints only 28891894EXPTEMP 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing As a travel nurse, you'll work in various healthcare settings, gaining exposure to diverse patient populations, medical procedures, and healthcare systems.
