Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Surgical Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 02/02/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $ 2200.00 Opportunity: Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech; Additional Notes from VMS= Certified Surgical Tech (Totals, Neuro & Ortho-Spine) Job Details: • Work 10-hour day shifts with variable start times as early as 6:00 AM • Stay late if needed to finish cases • 40 guaranteed hours per week over 13-week contract • Float to all facilities within 60-mile radius as needed • No on-call, call-back, weekend, or holiday rotation requirements • Minimum 2 years experience with travel experience required • Required certifications: CST & AHA BLS • Strong experience required in Neuro, Ortho (totals) and Ortho-Spine procedures • Must be proficient with Mazor robot for spine procedures and Stealth navigation systems • Handle approximately 20-25 cases per day • Assist with room turnover and case pickup • Primary procedures include total joint replacements, spine fusions (anterior & posterior), ALIFT, TLIF, discectomy, hand/upper extremity, and podiatry • Occasional pediatric cases (few times per month) • Spine cases include lumbar 360 fusions, cervical procedures, stealth/robotic cases • Scrub colors provided • 8-hour unbillable orientation required • Previous travel assignment completion required - no new travelers accepted Facility: This orthopedic, spine and pain management facility is a free-standing outpatient surgical center offering comprehensive services including evaluation, diagnostics, surgery, rehabilitation and pain management. The center specializes in advanced orthopedic procedures and utilizes cutting-edge technology including robotic assistance and navigation systems to provide high-quality patient care in a modern surgical environment.
