Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients on a telemetry medical-surgical unit. Manage patient loads with ratios typically ranging from 1:4-5 during days to 1:5-6 during nights, adjusted for acuity. Collaborate closely with an experienced healthcare team including charge nurses, LPNs, hospitalists, respiratory therapists, and phlebotomy staff. Utilize electronic charting through EPIC and operate Alaris infusion pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing systems. Ensure patient safety and adherence to protocols, including proper use of PPE. Participate in at least one orientation shift to familiarize with unit flow and procedures. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with a minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience. Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale. Demonstrated competence in telemetry monitoring. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
