Ascension, a leading faith-based healthcare organization, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Computerized Tomography Technologist to join our team. As part of a network that is committed to innovation and compassionate, personalized care, you will play a vital role in delivering top-tier medical imaging services that aid in diagnosing and treating diverse patient needs. In this role, you will utilize state-of-the-art technology to produce high-quality CT scans, which are integral to our multidisciplinary approach in understanding and treating various conditions. Perform high-quality CT scans according to the prescribed protocols. Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures. Prepare and position patients accurately for diagnostic imaging. Administer contrast media as needed, under the direction of the supervising physician. Maintain all records relating to the procedures performed. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care. Participate in maintaining and managing the CT equipment, suggesting improvements and adjustments to enhance functionality. Proficient in the operation and maintenance of CT imaging equipment. Adept at patient management during radiological procedures. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and healthcare teams. Detailed knowledge of anatomy, pathology and medical terminology. Applicable state licensure as a radiologic technologist.
