Job Description Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2556.00 /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - PCU /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM /n• 36 guaranteed hours per week during a 13-week contract /n• Every other weekend and every other holiday required /n• Float to all inpatient units as needed /n• Patient ratio typically 1:4 on a 44-bed intermediate cardiac step-down unit /n• Must be outside a 50-mile radius of facility location /n• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS, and ACLS /n• Must be able to pass EKG test during first week of hire /n• Minimum 1 year strong cardiac experience (Cardiac SDU/Intermediate Cardiac/Cardiac ICU) required /n• 2 years IMC/PCU/Telemetry experience required /n• At least one travel assignment must be completed /n• Experience with Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro drips required /n• 1 year recent EPIC charting experience required /n• Can be low censused and put on call with 2-hour call back minimum /n• Any color scrubs permitted /n• Care for post-op CABG/valve, thoracotomy, vascular, arrhythmia, CHF patients /n• Handle post-procedure catheterization, pacemaker, defibrillator, and ablation patients /n• Manage acute chest pain/MI and medical/surgical overflow cases /n• Fast-paced environment with high patient turnover /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility features a comprehensive cardiac services program with a 44-bed intermediate cardiac step-down unit.
