Join our healthcare team and experience the best of Wausau's outdoor recreation and welcoming atmosphere during your contract./n /n/nTravel Cath Lab Tech Job Details/n /n - Estimated Weekly Salary: $2030 - $2190 per week/n - Assignment Length: 13 weeks (October 6, 2025 – January 3, 2026)/n - Location: Wausau, WI 54401 – Central Wisconsin healthcare jobs/n - Facility Setting: Hospital – Cardiovascular Surgical Tech Unit/n - Shift: 8-hour days, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday/n - Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week/n - On-Call: 1 night per week, 1 weekend per month, 1 backup per week; 30-minute response time required/n - Weekend/Holiday: Every 3rd to 4th weekend; holiday rotation/n - Floating: May be required to float to other Central Aspirus locations/n /n/nCath Lab Technologist Qualifications/n /n - Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Cath Lab Tech or Cardiovascular OR Tech/n - Prior travel healthcare experience required/n - Level 2 trauma hospital experience preferred/n - High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree or Surgical Tech Certificate preferred/n - Current AHA BLS certification required/n - CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) license preferred/n - Cardiac, thoracic, and robotic surgery experience required/n - Reliable personal vehicle required (rideshare not permitted due to on-call needs)/n - Proficient in setting up operative suites, scrubbing surgical cases, and room turnover/n - Flexible, motivated, and able to manage downtime productively/n - Strong work ethic, resilience, and adaptability in a fast-paced healthcare environment/n /n/nCath Lab Tech Responsibilities/n /n - Prepare and set up operative suites with necessary supplies for cardiovascular procedures/n - Scrub in for a variety of cardiac and thoracic surgical cases, including robotic-assisted surgeries/n - Efficiently turn over rooms for multiple procedures daily/n - Participate in on-call rotation and respond within 30 minutes as required/n - Float to other Central Aspirus healthcare locations as needed/n - Assist with downtime tasks such as pulling case carts and cleaning/n - Collaborate with a team of 3 cardiothoracic surgeons on approximately 50-60 cases per month/n - Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills in a dynamic clinical setting/n /n Apply now to join our healthcare team as a travel Cath Lab Technologist in Wausau, Wisconsin, and take the next step in your allied health career!
