Job Description:
Southern Health Partners is currently seeking a committed and
professional Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Medical Team
Administrator at the Waushara County Jail, Wisconsin. This
significant role requires a blend of nursing expertise and
administrative acumen to manage and ensure excellent healthcare
delivery within a correctional facility environment. The RN Medical
Team Administrator will lead a dedicated medical team, overseeing
all health services operations while promoting Southern Health
Partners' commitment to superior patient care, innovative health
solutions, and cost-effective healthcare management. Administer
comprehensive healthcare to inmates, including assessments,
treatments, and medication management. Direct and supervise the
healthcare staff within the facility, ensuring adherence to
established healthcare practices and standards. Collaborate with
multidisciplinary team members including external healthcare
providers and facility administration. Maintain accurate records of
patient care, treatments, and medical inventory. Implement
healthcare protocols and policies to ensure compliance with
federal, state, and local regulations. Respond to emergencies and
provide guidance on medical crises management. Conduct regular
audits and reviews to ensure the efficacy and safety of the
healthcare services provided. Strong clinical skills in a
healthcare setting Excellent leadership and team management
capabilities Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to make quick decisions in emergency situations Proficient
in healthcare management and clinical software Current Registered
Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin CPR certified
Additional certification in Correctional Healthcare Professional
(CCHP) preferred but not required
