• Supervise and observe the effectiveness of cooks and kitchen personnel
• Ensure food items are prepared according to quality, consistency, and timelines
• Maintain food storage, receiving, rotating, and stocking
• Prepare food to specifications before and during unit operation
• Comply with portion sizes, quality standards, and department rulesRequirements
  • At least 18 years old
  • High school education desired, participation in culinary programs preferred
  • Minimum of 6 months- 1 year's previous experience in a back-of-the-house food service position
  • Familiarity with knife handling and schedulingWork EnvironmentThe successful candidate will work in a kitchen environment with moderate to high noise levels and frequent exposure to hot and damp conditions. Physical requirements include manual dexterity, ability to lift and carry large pans, and standing and walking for long periods.
