Before proceeding with the application process, please review the Fair Credit Reporting Act attachment at the bottom of the page.JOB SUMMARYThis position is primarily responsible for providing general administrative support and assistance to the Human Resources Department. The Human Resources Assistant will also serve as a resource for all Nicolet employees in regard to onboarding and offboarding, performance reviews, HRIS system, and general Human Resources-related questions.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIESThe following are essential job responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the VP of Human Resources and Human Resources Team including, without limitation, scheduling and preparing material for meetings/trainings, correspondence, and other tasks as assigned.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees and outside callers by answering questions accurately and promptly. Direct calls to appropriate party when necessary.
  • Ensure integrity of employee files by accurately scanning and indexing records, collecting required documents from new employees, and maintaining job descriptions.
  • Monitor performance appraisal process to ensure appraisals are completed on a timely basis and follow up with supervisors as necessary. Serve as main point of contact for all performance review troubleshooting.
  • Assist with communication and employee engagement programs as needed including, but not limited to, Communication Forum, annual wellness activities, and volunteer opportunities.The following job responsibilities may be reassigned:

Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Communication or related field preferred.Experience Required/Preferred:2-4 years in administrative position dealing directly with employees, applicants or customers. Some experience in Human Resources and/or banking preferred.
        PHYSICAL DEMANDSIn compliance with the ADA, performance of this job requires certain physical demands. These demands are as follows but not limited to the ability to sit, stand and walk often throughout the day, constantly be able to operate with their hands and arms, occasionally ascend/descend flights of stairs, position themselves frequently throughout the day, communicate with other employees, able to examine their work and regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds while occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. These physical demands must be met by an employee to be successful and perform at full potential but reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions.
