Position Title: JBS Sanitation HRSupervisor
3rdshift Department:SanitationLocation: Green Bay, WI SanitationSalary Class:ExemptPurpose & Scope:Our company is in search of an HRSupervisor.This position requires theability tosupervise and coordinate activities of professional level and administrative support for employees engaged in employee relations, compensation, benefits, training for Sanitation.Principle Responsibilities:Supervises the day-to-day administration of personnel policies and practicesOversees and assigns employee trainingsand orientation programsOversees the administration of compensations and benefits programs at the location to ensure these programs are in line with corporate programsRecommends program changes or enhancements to meet human resource requirementsManage Payroll Process & mitigate payroll errorsManage HR systems accuracy (Kronos timecards/attn. entries, Attendance percent s, SAP entry, Kronos task code updates)Assists with the preparation of separation notices for employees separating with cause and may conduct exit interviews to determine reason behind separationsWillrepresent companyin any HR/SafetyinvestigationsObserve & enforce all company personnel, quality, safety, and food safety policies.Maintains a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you work effectively and cooperatively with employees and leadership teams.Ensures regulatory compliance with ADA, FMLA, EEOC, etc.Compliance (familiarity with Company Policy, Union Contract, State Law, Federal Law & how they intersect)Participate in strategic HR related to Turnover, Development, Retention, Conflict Management. HR KPIs, etc.Audit: complete regular internal audits with HRMRecognizes and acts on incidents and safety risks. Consistently practices, and enforces safe work habits and drives those habits throughout the organizationIn-depth working knowledge of Regulations and Human Resources policies and proceduresConsiderable skill in problem solving, conflict resolution, and dealing with confidential information/situationsWorking knowledge of benefits administration and management practicesOther duties assignedQualifications:Supervisory skills; good interpersonal relations; ability to handle conflict.Good verbal and written communication skills.Ability to lead a groupManageindividualemployee objectives as well asteam performance and building a team approach to problem solvingExcellent verbal and written communication skillsComputer skillsRequirements:Education:Typically requires a Bachelor s degree in a related field; however, additional related work experience will be considered in lieu of the education requirement.Minimum high school diploma or equivalencyrequiredExperience:1-2years previoussupervisor experience in aHR environment; Previous experience in food manufacturing preferred.Experience with FMLA & ADA preferredExperience with SAP & Kronos preferredBilingual preferred; English & SpanishWorking Conditions:Fast paced environmentExposure to various chemicals, machinery, and knivesSlippery floors, extreme temperatures and loud noisesAbility to stand and walk for long periods of timeThe applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;This position is eligible to participate in the Company s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;The Company is dedicated to ensuring a safe and secure environment for our team members and visitors.
