Brands are each $2+ Billion brands that continue to delight
consumers across their consumer segments. The demand for product
initiatives across both brands is high in order to maintain market
share and win both at the FMOT and SMOT. As a PC&IS Technical
Engineer at the Green Bay site, you will have the opportunity to
help develop and roll out improvements, innovations, and
initiatives to our fleet of converting lines and papermaking
Machines throughout our 6 North America Sites. Additionally, you
will eliminate obsolete equipment to prevent business risks at the
site. Job Qualifications Education: A Bachelors or Master's degree
in Electrical Engineering (or other related degree and/or
work-related experience). Required Qualifications:
- Strong technical mastery in PC&IS technologies
- Experience in implementing change control/electrical
change
- Good leadership, communication, and coaching skills. Ability to
set standards, role model, coach, teach, and set technical
direction.
- Teamwork/ Collaboration: Ability to work across disciplines and
departments to build consensus and align technical directions.
Experience using a variety of influencing skills.
- Ability to identify opportunities to leverage PC&IS
technologies to meet the most challenging business needs. Ability
to deal with cost and scheduling constraints. Understand the
differences between Low Cost Solutions and Total Cost of Ownership
and when each is needed.
- Proven capability to penetrate technical details and drive
issues to resolution in a timely manner. These issues may involve
barriers to equipment performance, to speed, to quality, or to
safety.
- Proven capability to manage projects, assess staffing
requirements, develop and communicate staffing plans with
recommended options. Ability to develop Best Value Option Analyses,
lead group discussions and drive to conclusion.
- Communicate effectively with Leadership to explain the
recommended strategies and when required, develop and communicate
plans to mitigate risks within a project. Preferred Qualifications:
- Preferred technology experience: Continuous Process Control,
Instruments, Control Logix PLCs, HMI's, Honeywell Experion, Motion
Control, Robotics, Vision Systems, Networks, Drives, Sensors,
Server Technologies, Regional and Local Electrical Design Codes
that govern applicable equipment and installation practices.
- Understands and follows Safe Work practices for electrical
systems and mechanical equipment. Understands the risks associated
with manufacturing environment and can define safe work systems and
equipment with focus
- Experience working within a platform managed environment, and
knowledge of how to drive change. We offer you:
