Job Description:
Drexel Building Supply is on the hunt for a skilled Door &
Millwork Finisher to join our dynamic team. As a key player in the
building industry, Drexel thrives on providing top-tier materials
and services for construction and renovation projects. This role
involves applying finish coatings and ensuring the highest quality
standards for our custom doors and millwork products. The ideal
candidate will bring meticulous attention to detail and a
dedication to excellence in every piece crafted. Prepare, finish,
and inspect doors and millwork to meet predefined specifications
and quality standards. Apply stains, paints, and other finishes to
surfaces by brush or sprayer, according to established guidelines
and techniques. Set up and operate tools and equipment necessary
for finishing tasks, including but not limited to sanders, saws,
sprayers, and other machinery. Inspect finished products for
smoothness, color correctness, and quality, performing touch-ups as
necessary. Maintain a clean and organized work environment,
ensuring all safety protocols and procedures are followed.
Coordinate with other team members to ensure project deadlines are
met and products meet or exceed client expectations. Record and
maintain accurate work logs and inventory records. Expertise in
using various hand tools and power equipment typically used in wood
finishing. Strong understanding of different types of wood and
appropriate finishing materials such as stains, varnishes, and
paints. Detail-oriented with an eye for aesthetics and quality.
Ability to multitask and prioritize duties in a fast-paced

manufacturers in the use of specific paints or machinery could be
