Shifts Available: 1st shift: 5am-3pm M-TH (Friday OT: 5am-1pm) Summary: As a 1st Shift Assembly team member, you will be an integral part of our manufacturing team, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and expertise to contribute to the assembly process. Your relevant experience with hand tools and power tools, along with warehouse knowledge, will further enhance your ability to meet production goals. Additionally, your proficiency in manufacturing and writing skills will ensure quality output and effective communication within the team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Using drawings and blueprints, accurately assemble windows according to customer specifications Use of hand tools (drills, screwdrivers, hammers) and various measuring equipment Ensure quality on all assembled and pre-assembled materials Work closely with a team Package and prepare windows for shipping Support and cross-train in other production areas as needed Requirements: Basic reading, writing, and math skills as well as the ability to read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions Ability to read/use a tape measure and various hand tools Ability to adapt – must be flexible Strong attention to detail Ability to communicate effectively Prior manufacturing experience is preferred but not required – willing to train the right candidate Reliability and proven attendance at past jobs Benefit Package: 3 Opportunities for wage increase within first year (2 within first 90 days) 2 Weeks’ vacation - accrual system Health, Dental, Vision, Disability, and Life Insurance after 30 days 10 Paid holidays 401K Plan with company match (50% up to 5%) Company Health Savings Account contributions ($500-$1800) Sign-On Bonus $500 Maternity/Paternity Pay Paid time off for birthdays Childcare Reimbursement ($200 monthly) Gym Reimbursement Fun Activities & Prizes throughout the year Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls.
