Our co-op program is designed to provide you the opportunity to gain valuable experience in your major.WHAT YOU'LL DOAs a member of Sentry's Stevens Point IT Co-op program you'll be part of an Agile/Scrum team responsible for finding new and exciting ways to apply technology and creative technical solutions to Sentry's systems. You Will

• Work hand-in hand with industry professionals on systems/projects across Sentry (there are lots)
• Define and design systems including UI layouts, database structures, design methodologies
• Provide interactive feedback on designs, testing, maintenance, and technical approaches
• Participate in code-reviews with experienced software engineers
• Build technical skills in advance and/or beyond what you receive in general courseworkWHAT IT TAKES
  Are a current full-time student pursuing an undergraduate degree Majoring in Computer Information Systems, Web Development, Applied Computing or a related field Have a desire to learn new technologiesHave exposure to or experience with Java or .NET Framework programmingHave exposure to or experience with data structures & algorithms and/or web design & developmentHave the ability to work between 12-19 hours per week during the school year with a minimum of 2-3 hour incrementsHave the ability to work 40 hours per week in the summerOur Co-Op provides opportunities for associates to meet challenges head-on. As such, our top candidates are curious, hardworking and always looking to improve.
