As the Sr Counsel - Employment Practices, you will provide legal advice and counsel on employment matters. Additionally, you will actively partner with other functions within the Company and act as a respected business leader.

Key Job Accountabilities:

* Oversee global and regional compliance to applicable labor and employment laws and regulations. Act as a strategic business partner to the HR organization to implement policies and practices supporting compliance to applicable laws and regulations. Identify and assess legal risks and opportunities within the Company's labor and employment practices, advise the Company's leadership and set strategy accordingly. * Provide legal advice and counsel to HR business partners regarding labor and employment matters such as wage and hour laws, workers' compensation, unemployment, FMLA, ADA, etc. Work with global business partners to facilitate engagement of and manage outside counsel to provide the same for operations in non-U.S. jurisdictions. * Act as a strategic partner to the organization related to employment and staffing needs, such as engagement of staffing agencies and immigration support for the Company's employee global mobility program. * Manage and oversee employee investigations and claims management, including training and development of tools for HR professionals. * Support the Company's talent and human capital initiatives, including compliance to Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) and the Company's Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) efforts as it relates to labor and employment matters. * Interpret applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, including jurisdictions outside of the United States, as necessary to provide legal advice to the Company. * Keep apprised of changes in labor and employment laws to ensure policies and procedures are compliant with all legal requirements; lead continuous improvement efforts related thereto.

Education/Experience Qualifications:

* A minimum of a Juris Doctor is required. * Seven (7) years of related experience is required; 10 is preferred. * In-house law department experience and/or labor and employment law practice experience. * Undergraduate degree from an accredited university. * Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, specifically legal writing and contract drafting. * Demonstrates a business-minded, risk-intelligent and problem-solving approach to practicing law.

An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.
