AriensCo is growing and looking to add some Designers to their
Brillion, WI team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking
to work on durable products for a company synonymous with quality
The Day to Day...
* Develops and supplies technical information of low to medium
complexity such as 3D models, 2D detailed drawings, and Bills of
Materials (BOMs) to communicate design intent to other groups as
required. These groups will include Design Engineering, Tooling,
Sourcing, Testing, Analysis, Manufacturing Engineering, Technical
Publications, and Industrial Design.
* Documents and helps to present technical information during
design reviews, normally in the form of CAD model presentations and
manipulations for viewing and discussion.
* May be involved in the presentation of innovation projects to
platform managers, marketing managers, executives, etc.
* Collaborates with more experienced designers and engineers to
provide follow-up and assistance on assigned projects.
* Involved in developing technology concepts into prototypes and
test pieces to determine viability.
* Prepares prototype work by developing 3D models and 2D
detailed drawings, ordering manufactured and purchased materials
and writing Model Shop job requests.
* May support multiple small projects and or parts of a project
* May participate in technical design reviews related to
technology and sub-systems that will be used on assigned platform
and innovation projects.
* Creates and processes Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) from
start to the point of design release for production.
* This is not necessarily a complete list of all
responsibilities, duties, skills, experience or requirements
associated with the job.
* Associate of Applied Science Degree (AAS) such as Mechanical
Design, Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent from an
accredited institution with the focus being relevant to the job
requirements of the technical team you will be assigned to
(example: Mechanical, Electrical, etc.) and 0-5 years of
