Join our Life Policy Services team where you'll provide customer service to policy owners, sales force, and other departments by answering questions, clarifying policy statuses, and giving general policy information to our customers.

This position may be staffed in either our Stevens Point, WI or Scottsdale, AZ office.


As a Life Policy Services Processor, you’ll review and process system and policy owner requests such as billing changes, cash value transactions, address changes, cancellations, renewals, and other entry level policy changes. In addition, you’ll:

  • Researches questions regarding billing, payment or loan history and policy payment status to address customer and agent inquiries or requests from other business areas within Sentry
  • Perform calculations such as cash, loan or surrender values, premium and credit due, sales credits, and commissions
  • Process policy premium payments
  • Become and remain familiar with each active policy type, what options are available, and how to best service each policy owner within each policy type
  • Process policy renewals including creating new policy pages
  • Receive and process cancellations, loans, and other requests
  • Assure contractual and regulatory compliance
  • Associate Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1-2 years of related work experience
  • Customer service experience required
  • Prior knowledge of Life systems and Life Insurance products and service preferred
  • Strong personal computer and keyboard skills, and basic accounting skills
  • Effective and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers
  • Ability to perform duties at a high level of accuracy with strong attention to detail
  • Possesses a positive attitude: a “can do” approach, good work ethic, and willingness to learn
