Job Description:

The Bilingual Recruiting Coordinator collaborates with managers to ensure the full-cycle recruiting process meets staffing and employment goals at Pomp's facilities. The Recruiting Coordinator will build relationships with representatives of recruiting and advertising resources to assist in finding and hiring the best talent.Objectives/Functions:

  • Work with management to identify open positions and staffing needs
  • Ensure that all recruiting and hiring activities are in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations
  • Locate and utilize a variety of recruiting and advertising resources to draw applicants, including internet job boards, print and radio outlets, social media, and personal networks
  • Assist manager with functionalities of applicant tracking system
  • Educate and assist managers in conducting fair, effective applicant screening and interviews
  • Ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria
  • Articulate and negotiate job offers with candidates
  • Create and revise job descriptions
  • Manage locations' interactions and contracts with staffing agencies
  • Attend community and industry job fairs, as appropriate
  • Assist in the facilitation of reference checks, background checks, and drug screens for potential employees
  • Support other Human Resources functions, as neededWork Environment:
    • This position operates in a professional, business setting
    • Routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines
    • Some travel including overnight trips requiredPhysical Demands:
      • Regularly lift, push, or move 10 pounds
      • Largely a sedentary role
      • Employee is regularly required to talk and hear in order to effectively communicate with internal and external customers and co-workers
      • Regular use of hands and arms in traditional office environmentJob Requirements:
        • Bilingual speaking Spanish and English
        • Proficient computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office programs
        • Strong verbal and written communication skills
        • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
        • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
