ABOUT THE ROLE

• Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
• Design structural components
• Produce individual designs and final layouts for wall, roof and floor systems
• Provide engineering support to customers when needed
• Make jobsite visits to take measurements
• Resolve architectural and design discrepancies if they arise
• On occasion, meet with customers to review plans and answer any questions they may have
• Prepares prints for manufacturing and release to production plant
• Prepares prints for outside customers
• Enters data into MiTek, design software for manufacturing
• Other duties as assigned YOUR PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite
  • Knowledge of MiTek design software
  • Your background involves putting customers first
  • You have been a HUGE contributor to the success of a team
