Job Description:

Cornerstone staffing is currently seeking a Production Worker that will work as part of a team performing tasks involved in the production or packaging of Foods products.Job Requirements:--- Learn and rotate in all stations of production and packaging. --- Job tasks may vary depending on product being produced. --- Dumping pails, boxes or totes of fruit into bins or on to a belt. - --- Conducts consistent visual inspection of finished product removing any foreign or extraneous matter to include pits, stems, leaves, etc. --- Pull product samples for quality testing. --- Loading empty pails and lids into pail washer. --- Stacking boxes pails onto a pallet. --- Assist with dry feed of product to various processes --- Marking, taping, labeling, inserting poly liners check weigh station. --- Required to attend daily pre-shift meetings. --- Clean as you go philosophies ensuring neat and clean work areas. --- Ensure prompt start time at the beginning of the shift and after breaks. Adhere to applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance. --- The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. - It does not involve solving the problem only recognizing there is a problem. --- Requires adaptability/flexibility to work in all production divisions of the plant such as sorter, packer, pie filling, labeling, canning line, special packs, as production needs arise and changes occur.
