The Consumer and Marketing Technologies Department is the IT Engine that delivers robust solutions to Kimberly-Clark's marketing teams by working with the appropriate internal and external resources including vendor partners. Our goal is to deliver innovative, efficient and cost-effective solutions to meet enterprise needs thereby driving business growth and profitability.

The SFSC Solution Architect will be responsible for architecting Salesforce Service Cloud implementations that seamlessly integrate with other marketing platforms in line with the global digital platform vision. The architect has the key responsibility for the Salesforce Service Cloud (SFMC) technical stack, maximizing the adoption of the platform and its core capabilities. As a hands-on expert, the Solution Architect will provide technical oversight for new SFSC implementations as well as addition of new capabilities to existing SFSC implementations.

This role will work with appropriate global teams to ensure compliance with the enterprise security guidelines. The Solution Architect will be accountable for the identification, tracking, mitigating, remediation, and verification of SFSC security vulnerabilities globally.

The right person for this role is proactive with stakeholders, a self-starter who can work under broad direction, and passionate about delivering world-class digital products that enable the business to optimize operations to maximize the value of K-C investments.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Facilitate the leadership vision around rolling out SFSC capabilities by taking a platform approach to architecture and implementation.
  • Architect Salesforce Service Cloud (SFSC) based platform, frameworks, customizations, integrations, and reports to drive the business outcomes and the platform vision.
  • Implement repeatable and scalable business processes based on best practices in collaboration with all functional stakeholders while maintaining an emphasis on the integrity of the systems.
  • Provide technical insight and guidance to the implementation of SFSC capabilities during planning and execution. Strive to minimize customizations by coming up with creative alternatives.
  • Implement SFSC initiatives adhering to the development standards and best practices, committing to the agreed timelines, and ensuring quality metrics are met.
  • Participate in the implementation of new technology platform / capabilities, including performing code walkthroughs / review to ensure digital developments are compliant to the standards and security guidelines.
  • Resolve technical issues, regularly communicating with the business team on the status of the issue resolution.
  • Own relationship with delivery partners through full lifecycle of support, including reviewing technical proposals to approve technical effort and considerations, onboarding (as needed) etc.
  • Understand the digital tools roadmaps and capabilities to provide a consistent user experience across all digital properties.
  • Maintain and evolve cultural awareness, act with global fluency. Adopt a test and learn, fail fast mindset with calculated risk taking.
  • Continuously upskill on needed functional and technical skills required to meet K-C's growing digital portfolio and changing technology needs.
  • Ensure insight and understanding of "best practices" and keeping pace with competition and peer companies.

    Key Qualifications and Experiences:
    • B.S. degree. A master's degree in a related field is preferred but not required.
    • 5+ years of working experience with Salesforce Service Cloud (SFSC) is a must; an in-depth understanding of core and extended capabilities offered by the SFSC ecosystem
    • 5+ years of proven experience as an architect of digital and marketing technology solutions
    • 3+ years in a Salesforce development role; including Apex and Visualforce development
    • Proven experience in SFDC APIs, SOSL, SOQL, SOAP or REST based web services, SQL, XML, and JavaScript is expected.
    • Proven experience in absorbing complex digital information and communicating effectively at all levels to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Proven in building Custom Objects and integrating Salesforce with external systems is required.
    • Strong hands-on experience in architecting and implementing large scale customer support solutions that helped achieve the desired business outcomes is required.
    • Experience working with virtual teams across cultures and time zones inside and outside the K-C organization including suppliers, partners and customers.
