The Certified Tumor Registrar maintains specialized databases/registry of patients seen at Aspirus affiliated Hospitals and Clinics who have been diagnosed with and/or treated for cancer for purposes of tracking treatment trends, enhancing patient care/outcomes, as well as providing useful research information on local, state and national levels.PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONSHealth information management degree, graduate of cancer registry academic program, or comparable college coursework as required for the CTR credential.Previous abstracting experience in an ACoS/CoC accredited facility beneficial but not required.Active CTR credential upon hire.Displays the ability to deal with frequent interruptions and work as part of a team with minimal supervision.Possesses a high level of interpersonal skills, resourcefulness and initiative.Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, 80 hours per pay period.
