If you think you d be a good fit, we d love to hear from you.What You'll DoAs a Sous Chef, you will contribute to the success of SentryWorld s Banquet and Events team by providing a top-notch dining experience for all of our guests by. In addition, you will:

  • Prepare food items, soups and sauces and develops appropriate food items for menu.
  • Provide guidance to kitchen staff members, including, but not limited, line cooking, food preparation, and dish plating.
  • Organize the food items required for the daily menu within the restaurant concept.
  • Oversee and organize kitchen stock and ingredients.
  • Assist Head Chef with food preparation, inventory control, and purchasing.
  • Oversee and lead back-of-house staff in the Head Chef s absence.
  • Maintain or exceed all state, federal & industrial food service sanitation requirements.
  • Mastery of proper product rotation and storage.What it Takes
    • Technical Degree or equivalent work experience.
    • 2-5 years of related work experience.
    • Must be able to obtain ServSafe and TIPS Certification.
    • Wood burning oven experience desirable.
    • Farm-to-table experience desirable.
    • Knowledge of saut , broiler, sanitation, and all aspects of food preparation.
