*Job Details: *
* Full Time - Hourly
* 1st Shift 6am - 2pm
* Starting pay: $14 per hour, with room for advancement

*Basic Job Duties: *

The General Laborer is responsible for performing daily product inspections based upon the VPS internal specifications and customer requirements to ensure the product meets the customer's expectations.
* Perform and document product inspections and quality checks
* Perform and document special testing requirements for designated items/orders
* Identify non conforming product and report findings to appropriate contact
* Perform spot checking, backtracking, or rework duties
* File and retrieve finished product retains
* Support Quality Control in product releases on designated items/orders
* Take on special projects, as instructed by Management
* Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times
* Compliance with all company Quality Systems, Operational and Human Resource policies, procedures, and practices, including safety and housekeeping procedures

*Secondary Job Duties: *
* Monitor the quality of the product to ensure compliance to company and customer quality specifications
* Package finished product as specified by customer
* Label packaged product and palletize
* Prepare new cartons as needed for job run
* Alert Machine Operator and Quality Control of any suspected material non-conformances

*Minimum Qualifications: *
* High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
* One (1) year of working experience in a manufacturing setting strongly preferred

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
