Human Resources Intern - Summer 2023
As the Human Resources Intern, you'll be responsible forassisting
the Human Resources Department with a wide range of projects
related to Talent Acquisition, Family Medical Leave administration,
employee record keeping, and other human resources related
functions.
Duties / Responsibilities :
Assist the Talent Acquisition Team with recruiting initiatives and
social media campaigns.
Assist the Compensation and Benefits Manager with company benefit
programs including wellness initiatives.
Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Manager and Corporate
Communications / Graphic Arts Coordinator with social media content
planning, development, and execution to promote the Employer
Brand.
Assist with organizing and distributing Family Medical Leave
paperwork to staff and maintaining tracking records as needed.
Assist with scanning personnel documents into the HRIS system.
Assist in the orientation process of new employees and learn how to
process and complete appropriate onboarding documentation.
Assist Human Resources Department with other administrative and/or
human resources tasks as needed.
What You Can Offer
Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program with an
emphasis in Human Resources Management.
Some experience working in an office or administrative setting is
preferred.
Requires a high level of confidentiality.
Requires excellent interpersonal skills to frequently deal with job
candidates, employees, management and the general public.
Must have good mathematical and analytical skills, problem solving
ability, and accuracy.
Good typing skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook & Office products.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Consistent and reliable attendance to maintain adequate staffing
levels and meet customer commitments is required.
