WLUK, Green Bay -has an immediate opening for a Digital News Producer. -Our Digital Producers are a creative crew. -They are dedicated to serving the information needs of our digital audience. -The Digital Producer is part of a collaborative newsroom - you're not on an island - you're part of a team dedicated to the latest in creative online and social content. In this position you will write news content, oversee ongoing stories, combine images and video on multiple platforms. -The over-riding purpose is generate news content in real time. The ideal candidate will have:

• Solid news judgment with a desire to share the latest information with our audience
• Be a compelling and accurate writer
• Be able to work independently - as a self-starter -
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment
• Strong communication skills
• The ability to execute news strategies and goals
• Flexibility and on-the-spot problem solving abilities are a must Experience:
  • Previous online writing experience is a plus
  • Previous experience writing news copy is preferred
  • Previous experience writing for a digital platform is preferred
