In the process, we can turn the manufacturing industry upside down, build incredibly products, and supply happiness throughout Wisconsin.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESSerious ambition welcome. You will be building roof and floor trusses for contractors and homeowners throughout Wisconsin. Bring your passion and determination and get ready for some fun! Here are the details.Properly position pre-cut boards on the truss tables according to blueprint specificationsAbility to lift up to 70 lbs & climb up and down from heights between 2.5-3 ft repeatedly throughout the dayBasic Mathematical SkillsFollow Line Leaders' InstructionsPlace metal reinforcement plates over connecting jointsSwing a hammer to connect parts at jointsVerify dimensions of pre-cut boards and accuracy of assembly before moving truss to the stackerAlways maintain a safe and neat work area at all timesAccurately record job times on the cutting sheets provided and on the time clockOther Duties as AssignedYOUR PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCEExperience with hand and power toolsExperience with reading building plansBasic math skillsYour background involves putting customers firstYou have been a HUGE contributor to the success of a teamYou are uniquely you and bring something to the table that no one else canYou have done some great things that don't necessarily fall into the career path above but that's what makes you cool!
