Now Hiring: Plastics Machine Operator 2nd ShiftAre you looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We are seeking a Plastics Machine Operator to operate rotational molding machines, ensure quality production, and maintain a safe and efficient workspace.Machine Operator Position Details:

• Shift: 2nd Shift - Monday - Friday - 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Pay: $17.00 per hour, paid weekly
• Opportunity: Try-before-you-hire option with potential for long-term employmentMachine Operator Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate rotational molding machines to meet production goals for safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency.
  • Monitor and inspect plastic parts after demolding to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Identify and report defective materials or irregular conditions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety regulations.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on machines per company guidelines.
  • Assist in various production tasks, including material filling, deburring, molding, bench operations, and product inspection.
  • Work at a consistent pace to meet production expectations.
  • Follow detailed work instructions and accept supervision as needed for machine setup.What Were Looking For:
    • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow precise work instructions.
    • Ability to identify and communicate molding defects effectively.
    • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
    • Basic math and measurement skills for accurate production tracking.
    • Effective communication skills to relay critical information to supervisors and coworkers.Machine Operator Qualifications:
      • Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
      • Experience: Prior experience in rotational molding is a plus but not required.
      • Technical Skills: Ability to use computer systems to access work instructions.Machine Operator Physical Requirements:
        • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
        • Frequent climbing of stairs, bending, stooping, squatting, and reaching.
        • Regular use of hands and wrists for handling small components.
        • Ability to lift 15-25 lbs. frequently and 20-40 lbs. occasionally.
        • Manual dexterity for handling tools and servicing molds.
        • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, cold, noise, and moving machinery.
        • Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment.Machine Operator Work Environment:
          • Manufacturing plant setting with climate-controlled areas and exposure to heat, noise, odors, and moving mechanical parts.
          • Personal protective equipment is required in designated areas.
