Learn more at .SummaryPerform maintenance and troubleshooting on industrial machinery, including preventative maintenance to ensure smooth production operations. Install and set-up new equipment and fixtures as needed. This is a multi-craft position and will require mechanical maintenance work also.Job Responsibilities & RequirementsWhat's in it for you?* $1500 sign on bonus* Production incentives* $500 quarterly retention bonus* 2nd and 3rd shift differentials* 401K* Generous benefits package including generous paid time offCareer advancement opportunitiesESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:* Read and interpret engineering blueprints* Install new production equipment* Troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns* Servicing and maintaining equipment including motors, conveyors systems, transmission systems, and production related equipment (brake press, lasers, powder coat line, welders, etc.) Schedules may be directed by manufacturer's specifications or developed internally.* Adjusting mechanical parts using hand and machine tools.* Fabricating parts for repairs and machine upgrades* Conducting routine maintenance and safety checks, preparing and submitting maintenance reports.* Attendance at work during the regularly scheduled shift is an essential duty. This includes but is not limited to the ability to work overtime as required, to be present at work, arrive on time and be at the workstation ready for work at the start of the shift.POSITION QUALIFICATIONS* Safety - Must have an outstanding safety record and follow all safety policies and procedures. Participate in safety training and meetings. Maintain clean and safe work area. Report all injuries/accidents near misses immediately to supervisor or a member of management. Ability to interact professionally with others, including co-workers, vendors and customers.* SKILLS & ABILITIESEducation: High School diploma or general education certificate (GED) with five years or more of experience.Two-year Electro-mechanical degree with 2+ years of industrial maintenance and electrical experience preferred.Language Skills:Effectively communicate with co-workers and management regarding work and safety issues. Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondenceMathematical Skills:Broad knowledge of shop mathematics and electrical calculations.Reasoning Ability:Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Comprehend job training and safety instructions. Work with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situationsComputer Skills:Use Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and PLC Programming Software (Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi Preferred). CAD and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software experience is a plus.Certificates & LicensesJourneyman or Maintenance Electrician License preferred. Equivalent training and experience may be accepted. Must qualify in MiTek Lock-Out Tag-Out program and Forklift Certification. Other MiTek Certifications as required.Other Skills and Abilities:Familiarity with OSHA safety standards. Basic computer set-up and basic networking skills experience a plus. Basic welding skills (i.e. Mig, Arc, Cutting Torch, etc.) are a plus.
