Expectations and Accountabilities:
Design/build analytics tools and capabilities for mill, regional,
and global teams to transform data into actionable insights.
Establish enterprise standards for manufacturing reporting and
dashboards for local, regional, and global review using data from
GE Proficy, OSI Pi Historian, and SAP. Develop global reporting
requirements for MES, and provide prioritization of design elements
to IT. Design and prepare manufacturing KPIs reports to effectively
communicate findings to organizational leadership and key
stakeholders. Partner with Digital Manufacturing Change Management
and Communications Leads to develop necessary training programs and
communications plans for reports/tools as they roll out across the
globe. Support manufacturing data analytics for key global
manufacturing initiatives/projects as needed. Value identification
using insights from loss analytics data Have a strong understanding
of business and technical architecture to efficiently identify and
prioritize opportunities of application of data science. Lead
initiatives to benchmark and research new data solutions and
practices internally and externally to improve the strength and
performance of our Manufacturing discipline. Manage and execute a
portfolio of projects including cross-functional management,
design, development, modeling, testing of proposed solutions
Scope:
This position functions as an important Digital Manufacturing
function by providing data driven innovative solutions for all
operations worldwide. The individual must be able to influence and
partner with the manufacturing leaders and other connected
functional teams to deliver tools and processes that improve
performance and cost. Lead development of the manufacturing mill
data architecture framework in support of the technology innovation
requirements. Lastly, the position has responsibility for leading
and coaching the global manufacturing functional resources in data
analytics and use of information from the acquired data and reports
for insights and action planning for continuous improvement.
