Distribution Center - Clamp Truck Operator
Marinette Mill
Job Responsibilities
* Responsible for loading and unloading product and materials using
the clamp truck or fork truck
* Removing cases from Unitizers, Palletizer, Alvey, Spur Line, Loop
and placing them into DC warehouse storage areas
* Housekeeping and bay integrity
* Must be able to carry out instructions written, orally, or with
diagrammatic forms
* Ability to handle problems with several variables being
involved
* Must have basic math skills, computer skills, and ability to
follow rules.
* Equipment- Use of Clamp/Fork Truck and Sweeper
Qualifications
* Must be eighteen years or older
* Read and write basic English
* Basic math skills
* Basic computer knowledge
* Basic mechanical aptitude
* Ability to maintain a work schedule of 12 hour rotating shifts,
including weekends and holidays.
* Position requires regular physical effort including pushing,
pulling, lifting, and bending. Able to stand and walk 90% of the
shift. Able to perform moderate lifting (up to 50 lbs)
* Legal right to work in the United States
Preferred Skills
* One-year manufacturing/industrial experience preferred
* High school diploma or GED equivalency preferred
* Post-secondary education (two- or four-year degree) preferred
* Ability to work safely in a multi-functional team environment
* Ability to handle multiple priorities
* Problem solving and decision making skills
* Motivated self-starter
* Must maintain excellent safety and attendance performance
* Good communication and listening skills
