Hoffmaster Group Inc, an industry leader producing the most complete line of specialty disposable tabletop products for over 70 years, is currently seeking a Plant Controller at our Foodservice manufacturing facility in Oshkosh. The Plant Controller is a critical member of the Operations/Finance team. As the finance lead in the plant, the Plant Controller must develop and maintain strong relationships with key employees in Operations, Distribution, Finance, Marketing and Procurement to ensure harmonization of critical priorities and projects. This person will think critically, drive process improvement, be organized, technically knowledgeable, a strong communicator and a strong team leader/builder. This person is much more than just a tactical accountant and is expected to work with Operations leadership in developing strategic plans. Essential Job Duties:

• Strategic partner with Operations, Distribution, Finance, Marketing and Procurement.
• Works collaboratively with operations and site leadership to identify and implement areas of improvement.
• Collaborates with other leaders in developing and executing inventory management metrics and initiatives.
• Responsible for month-end financial close activities regarding manufacturing and inventory, including supplemental reporting and variance analysis.
• Monitors cost/BOM/Routing infrastructure. Includes cost data reliability and improving costing methods.
• Prepares new product costs for marketing and the FP&A department
• Prepares and analyzes monthly manufacturing financial results for plant management.
• Develops the labor, overhead and material components of the annual manufacturing budget and works with operations to develop the expense budgets.
• Develops capital project justifications.
• Supports Annual Audit Process
• Self-directed. Reports to VP-Finance Supply Chain, in Oshkosh, WI and works closely with team members at other locations.
• Other Duties and Responsibilities - Corporate Performance Management System champion.
• Will perform other duties as assigned. Requirements:

  • 4 Year / Bachelors Degree- Accounting or related
