To prepare packages for shipment you will create the appropriate paperwork, schedule, package, verify, and load the shipments. Handling incoming deliveries, you will unload shipments, verify deliveries, returns, and corresponding paperwork. Use of various devices is required, including forklift, hand tools, power tools, and postage meter. Physical Requirements of a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator include: Spends prolonged periods of time walking or standing. Some exposure to noise, equipment movement hazards and chemicals/solvents. May be required to lift, carry or push up to 100 pounds.What we are looking for: High School Diploma or equivalent with some computer classes preferred. Forklift certification required.
