Sentry Insurance is looking for an analytical and result driven individual to fill an Actuarial Analyst II role within the P&C Reserving department. As an Analyst in Sentry's Stevens Point, WI home office, you will join a team of qualified Actuaries in applying Actuarial methods and techniques, analytical skills, and business acumen to determine proper reserve levels for a wide spectrum of product lines and assist key business stakeholders in understanding their results.

This position will be located at our Home Office in Stevens Point, WI and is not a remote opportunity. For this position, Sentry does not offer employment to holders of F-1, J-1, and H-1 Visas.What You'll Do

• Perform reserve analysis for multiple lines of business
• Work with Sentry's Finance department to ensure selected reserves are properly booked
• Prepare reserve exhibits, dashboards, and reports for both internal and external reporting
• Analyze line of business and business unit behavior to identify trends and changes in emergence patterns or other key reserving diagnostics
• Participate in Planning and Forecasting of loss and LAE resultsWhat it Takes
  • Bachelors Degree in Actuary Science, Math, or related fields
  • 1-3 years of related work experience preferred
  • Completed 2 or more actuarial exams
  • Strong background in statistics, economics, computers, finance, business, or accounting
