Start your career as a Material Handler for Georgia-Pacific at our Packerland location in our Shipping and Receiving Department.The starting hourly rate for this position is $19/hour. In addition to a competitive hourly wage, we also offer the potential for performance-based pay bonuses, two (2) weeks of vacation prorated for the first year, overtime opportunities, and MANY advancement opportunities. The typical schedule for this role is Monday - Friday, 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM, however, someone in this role must be available for weekends, holidays, and overtime, as necessary.External applicants are eligible to receive a sign-on bonus equal to 15% of the total earnings from the first 90 calendar days of employment.What You Will Do In Your RoleSupport both the shipping and receiving departments in completing daily schedules of inbound and outbound freight.Help maintain the warehouse, housekeeping, check for damaged products, etc. To help ensure that it is always SQF (Safe Quality Foods) audit ready.Promote our facility vision and MBM - philosophy within our team and customers.The Experience You Will BringRequirements:One or more of the following:Experience on industrial forklifts including the following attachments- box clamp, roll clamp, slip sheet/grabber is preferred but not necessary.Comfortable working with computers/Tablets.What Will Put You AheadExperience using a warehouse management systemExperience working with a teamOur goal is for each employee, and their families, to live fulfilling and healthy lives.
