This role is located near Plymouth WI.JOB DESCRIPTIONNeed to be able to lead people, train, teach, coach . every one of our employees is vital our success . we need an individual that understands this. Set goals . obtain them .do so with a smile on your face.Manage to achieve the goals of real-time quality control on production floor.Report any Food Safety / Quality or security risks observed during the course of duty to upper management.Maintain a safe work environment and discipline/counsel violators as needed.Maintain an appropriate, qualified staff and ensure job assignments are conducive to efficient quality performanceReview analytical data regularly to ensure quality and production standards are adhered to.Manage the disposition of any product or raw material that does not meet established specifications or practices in accordance with direction from Quality Assurance.Enforce GMP rules and participate in regular facility audits to ensure these rules are being strictly followed with appropriate discussion and follow-up.Support the plant staff by assisting in troubleshooting and resolving issues that may impact food safety or product quality.Provide support for R&D Department in trial runs and product development testing as needed.Provide report to management on any reported violations to regulations and monitor follow-up actions.Education and Experiences.Required education generally equivalent to an Associate's Degree; Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred; with a combination of experience or skills acceptableTarget of 5 years of experience working in the food or beverage industry; Understandings of GMP s, HACCP and SQF. Great communication skills, math and listening. Able to provide great direction and mentor teammates.Experience managing at least 10 employees
