Location: Green Bay, WI Shift: 2nd Shift Work model: Hybrid Schedule: FULLTIME; Week 1: Mon, Thurs, Fri, 2:00 pm - Midnight and Sat, Day Shift and Week 2: Sun, Day Shift and Mon, Tues & Thurs, 2:00 pm - Midnight Job overview: Schneider is seeking a Senior Brokerage Specialist in Green Bay to take on support shift brokerage duties within Schneider's Transportation Management (STM) division. The Senior Brokerage Specialist will broker, accept and track freight while solving problems and building solid relationships with Schneider's customers. Responsibilities: Broker out freight. Accept new freight deals. Negotiate rates with current carriers. Process insurance updates from current carriers. Email with and take calls from carriers, drivers and customers to solve problems that arise. Skills and qualifications: Associate degree. One year of customer service experience preferred. Strong planning and organizational skills. Capable of multi-tasking. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Exceptional written and verbal communications skills. Ability and desire to work on-site, in person, at a Schneider facility as part of a team. Pay and benefits: Additional $1.25 per hour on second and third shift, $2.00 per hour on weekends. Associate will be provided a hybrid work options upon associate meeting the performance expectations of the role, after approximately six months of training.
