Job Description:

Position Overview The Electro Mechanical Technician will be responsible for maintaining all production equipment, which includes but is not limited to: electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, servo, and PC systems, as well as general building maintenance. Responsibilities --- Performing preventative maintenance --- Troubleshooting breakdowns and performing repairs --- Equipment installation --- Performing the installation of electrical equipment including cable trays, pulling cable and wires, running conduit, installing drives and motors. --- PLC troubleshooting and programming --- Replacement and installation of lighting fixtures and lamps as required. --- General building maintenance --- All other duties as assigned Qualifications --- Good troubleshooting ability, manual dexterity, and ability to read and comprehend schematics and blueprints --- Strong electrical and mechanical skills --- Must be familiar with all AC, DC, low voltage, and 480V, equipment as required --- PLC knowledge - programming and troubleshooting --- Must be able to climb ladders and work with aerial platforms --- Excellent communication and organizational skills --- Basic computer skills --- Ability to multi-task and work independently and in a team environment --- Willingness to work either 2nd (Monday - Friday 2pm - 10pm) or 3rd shift (Sunday - Thursday 10pm-6am) with some overtime/weekend work --- Associates degree in Electro/Mechanical Technology, or equivalent, preferred, but will consider experience in lieu of education Compensation & Benefits In addition to a competitive wage, the selected candidate will enjoy a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, prescription drug, wellness programs, STD, LTD, life insurance, company matching 401(k) and pension.
