Sales Force Training Specialist POSITION SUMMARY The Sales Force Training Specialist develops and delivers the training plan for all new hire Solutions Consultants to allow them to achieve expected performance. They partner with Senior Leaders and General Managers to identify additional development opportunities for existing Consultants to improve and strengthen individual results. The Salesforce Training Specialist coordinates and delivers ongoing product and process training for the entire Sales (Inside and Outside) group as well as supporting business units to strengthen the overall sales efforts within the organization. Additionally, they develop reporting mechanisms to convey the impact (ROI) of their efforts.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS --- Onboards new Solution Consultants by conducting orientation to sales policies and processes, developing individual training plans related to products and services, and scheduling coaching and ride-alongs with senior representatives. --- Determines on-going training needs by traveling with sales representatives, observing sales encounters, studying sales reports, and conferring with General Managers. Implements solutions to address the opportunities identified. --- Collaborates with Senior Leaders, General Managers, Marketing, and SME's to develop curriculums and deliver training programs that continues to build the knowledge and skills of the Consultants to achieve the objectives of the Sales department.--- Develops and facilitates training sessions for supporting business units to strengthen organizational knowledge of Sales policies, processes, products, and services offered. --- Improves training effectiveness by developing new approaches and techniques, ensures supplemental learning resources are readily available, and creates performance support mechanisms and processes within the Sales Department. --- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, obtaining certifications and designations, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations. --- Other duties, as assigned.COMPETENCIES --- Relationship Building - Ability to establish and maintain a good rapport and cooperative relationship with Customers and co-workers. This competency asks the question "How effectively do you relate with others?" --- Leadership - How well the individual motivates and guides others to ensure performance in accordance with clear expectations and goals. It involves attracting, supporting, developing, and retaining a talented and diverse workforce.This competency asks the question "How comfortable are you with making decisions and taking a leading role?" --- Change Management - Ability to encourage others to seek opportunities for different and innovative approaches to addressing problems and opportunities. This competency asks the question "How well can you facilitate the implementation and acceptance of change within the workplace?" --- Sales Ability - Whether an individual can use appropriate interpersonal styles and communication methods to gain acceptance of a product, service, or idea from prospects and clients. This competency asks the question "How well can you present ideas or products and move others to action or to gain agreement?" SKILLS & ABILITIES Required Experience --- At least 2 years in an Inside or Outside Sales Role Preferred Experience --- At least 2 years coaching, training and curriculum development experience --- At least 2 years in a Sales leadership role. --- At least 2 years working with Cisco and Microsoft Technologies.Required Skills, Education and/or Certifications: --- Associates Degree in Business, Management, IT or Marketing or related work experience Preferred Skills, Education and/or Certifications: --- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, IT, or Marketing --- Experience completing Needs Analysis or Root Cause Analysis inquiries --- Sales related certifications or designations from technology providers Equal Opportunity Employer - Disabled/Vets
